During the winter months, David works in La Manzanilla, Jalisco, Mexico ... a small village on the Pacific Ocean, thirty miles north of Manzanillo. It's an ideal setting for those wishing to enjoy a relaxing (and we mean too-limp-to-lift-a-Corona relaxing) vacation while learning to carve and sculpt.

David invites students to attend week-long sessions in carving and furniture making. Students will be housed near the studio and enjoy time off for road and mountain biking, and kayaking on beautiful Lake Pend Oreille.
